I'm glad to bring back the TAC Fitness & Nutrition Sunrise Sessions!! Had the honor to train with a former Muay Thai training partner this morning and he definitely killed the workout.
We train hard to push limits and thresholds to get better. Just as victories come large and small, failures also come in different sizes. We continue to train hard and become familiar with failure because without it we would never know what success feels like. Don't get failure and giving up mixed as they are different. Failure is just a sign of an area to work on and get better. When you train hard, failures start to lessen and opportunities of success and growth begin to show.
Here is our Sunrise Session Main Set and finisher:
Main Set
Squat jumps
Burpees
1x50 yd sprint
Plyo push-up
Burpees
1x50 yard jog
Reps: start with 1 rep of each excercise excluding the sprint and jog. Then do 2 reps of each, then 3 and so forth all he way to 10s. The running is always 1 each per round. No breaks, the jog is your active rest.
Core Finisher: 4x50 reps
Row or suitcase sit-ups
Full regular sit-ups
Flutter kicks ( hands up, right-left is 1 rep)
Bicycles (right-left is 1 rep)
